Condolence: We are greatly saddened to hear about Hans’s passing. Hans is my uncle. I have fond memories of staying with him and Mary for a year while learning English at the Griffis Airforce Base. It was an unforgettable experience. When my family and I lived on Long Island and traveled to Buffalo on weekends, we were always welcomed to stay at the Ogg residence. Last year we moved to Chicago and were hoping to meet again and live up the old times but sadly that is not to be.

We knew Hans as a quiet family man. He also was a very happy chap. He was so patient and generous with his time and expertise. His face would light up when he talked about his family. He will be missed. Take care of each other. You have a very special angel watching over you.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear the sad news this afternoon. I was probably one of the first people that knewyou when you first came here from Switzerland. You spent a lot of time with us when you stayed at our house for a while. Mom and Dad thought the world of you and my Jolene did as well. I'm glad that I saw you and Mary at Church and at the last All Class Reunion at Westmoreland CSD. You will be missed by so many people. Mary, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
