Noreen Naymick, age 78, of Verona, passed away peacefully April 5, 2015.

She was born June 23, 1936, in Rome, a daughter of John A. and Gladys Caton Clark, and graduated from St. Aloyisus Academy. Noreen was united in marriage to Robert Naymick on May 12, 1956, in Rome. She worked at Griffiss AFB until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Oneida County Fire-Police Auxiliary, Lowell Fire Department Auxiliary and the Rome Developmental Center Co-ed Bowling League.

Noreen is survived by her husband, Robert; a daughter, Melody Carletta of Westmoreland; a son, Paul A. Naymick of Verona; four grandchildren, Justin Naymick and his companion, Kristen Lewis, Christopher Carletta, Marco Carletta and Adam Carletta; several nieces and nephews; a sister in law, Patricia Clark; a former daughter in law, Lezlie Naymick; and a former son in law, Rosario Carletta. She was predeceased by a sister, LaRene Frances Davis VanWie, and nine brothers, Leroy, Jack, Edgar and Frederick Davis, and Robert, John Jr, Norman, Richard and Paul Clark.

The family would like to thank the staff on 2 South at the Heritage Healthcare Center in Utica.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
