Shirley J. Rasha, age 90, of Rome, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 at Rome Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side.
Shirley was born March 5, 1927, in Rome, to the late Lyle Sr. and Luella Regner Eychner. She was united in marriage to the late Harlow F. Rasha on October 30, 1948, in Verona; a blessed union of 64 years until his passing on May 11, 2012.
Shirley was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Shirley is survived by a son and a daughter in law, Rick and Kathy Rasha of Camden; grandchildren, , Chad Rasha, Heather and Mike Andrewski, Jeffrey and Laura Rasha, and Ryan and Tara Nutting; three great grandchildren; and three sisters, Jackie Morat, Mildred Desgrosiellier, and Donna Finn. She was predeceased by a son and daughter in law, Gary and Carol Rasha, a sister, Marilyn Secor, and three brothers, Donald, Lyle Jr., and Clifford Eychner.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s name can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
