Condolence: Ms. Schoff was one of the most passionate teachers that any student who walked the halls of West Genesee could have had the pleasure of knowing. What a kind, intelligent caring human being. I feel lucky to have known her and I'm sure I do not stand alone. Because of her, many of us have chosen to dedicate our lives to teaching. Love and prayers to the schoff family.

Condolence: Condolences on the family loss. I had the pleasure of being in her history classes and particularly was enthralled with WWII Asia and Europe. I can still remember in American History having a Civil War reenactor come in, years later I am reenacting with a great group of Military Veterans like myself. Mrs. Schoff was one of the kindest, dearest people anyone could ever meet. She would keep the students enthused and their spirits soaring with her dedication to teaching and mentoring.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Miss Schoff's passing. She was one of the only teachers that not only touched me academically but she left such an amazing impression on me just on how a person should be. She had an amazing sense of humor and it was the only year of history I enjoyed in my 4 years at West Genny. She was truly remarkable and left such a lasting imprint on so many students. Rest In Peace Miss Schoff and my condolences and prayers to your family.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Miss Schoff was the best teacher i ever had. She was happy and funny! I remember whenever the lady came over the pa system saying "pardon the interruption" she would always say "we are letting you out early due a water main break". She was wrong alot of the times except one time when she was right! It was great! She was simply the best. She will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. RIP Miss Schoff

Condolence From: Sean P Shay, West Genesee Class of 1996
Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to you on Marsha's passing. She was a fantastic teacher and sometimes, an entertainer in the classroom. She was a tell it like it is teacher, and bluntness was her currency in trade. She was loved by thousands and thousands of students over the years, and made it a little easier for many to get through the tough years. In fact, for some, she might be the only reason. The world is a little smaller now, but the skies grew tenfold. She is,was, and for a long time will be remembered fondly. A mother to more than she could count.

Condolence: Ms. Schoff was kind, caring and hilarious. I remember her the most from my school years at CJHS. She made learning fun, I remember always being excited to go to her class. Dancing with her broom or talking to her stuffed squirrel are memories I will always cherish! It sounds kinda silly but she made us remember what she was saying by making us laugh as we learned. She made a positive impact on my life, I will remember her with fond regard. May she Rest In Peace.

Condolence: Miss Schoff left a positive imprint on the heart of anyone who crossed her path. She is that once in a lifetime teacher that some of us have had the great fortune to have known. I am so very grateful that all three of my children came to be taught by Miss Schoff at the West Genesee High School. She had a way to connect with even the toughest students, and fostered the love of learning every day in her classes. I would have wished her a longer, happy retirement, but as we know, sometimes God will take the best. Godspeed, Miss Schoff. Your legacy here on earth will not be forgotten.
