Korbin Jace O’Connell, born July 21, 2015 to Kelsey Mahoney and Aaron O’Connell on a beautiful sunny day and was inexplicably taken to heaven August 10, 2015. In that short time he brought joy to his parents, brother, sister and all of his family. His big beautiful eyes captivated all of us from the moment he was born. The loss of him is immeasurable.
In addition to his loving parents, Korbin is survived by his brother, Hunter Levi O’Connell who just could not give him enough kisses; sister Abigail Krambuhl; maternal grandmother, “Mimi” Sandra Mahoney and Rod Wiediger, Maternal grandfather, John Mahoney and Brenda Kindler; Paternal grandfather, James O’Connell; aunts and uncles, Brianna Mahoney, Brittany Mahoney, Christina O’Connell, Kelly Salmon, Shaun O’Connell, Kerry Cassler and James O’Connell. He is also, survived by many cousins, great aunts and uncles and extended family and friends. Korbin was predeceased by his loving grandmother Francine Lambert, who we are confident is caring for him in heaven.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 5:00 pm at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Rome.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Friday 3-5 pm prior to the service.
The family thanks Camden Fire and Ambulance, AmCare Ambulance and the staff at Rome Memorial Hospital Emergency Department for the valiant efforts to save Korbin.
Korbin Jace was part of our lives for a short time, but will remain in our hearts forever.
