David P. Dominic, 47, passed away peacefully on the evening of August 29th, 2016.
David was born October 17th, 1968 in Rome NY, the son of the late John Dominic Sr. and Jeanette Taverna Dominic. David was a graduate of Rome Free Academy class of 1987 and a graduate of Buffalo State University, and was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.
David was known for his infectious laugh, constant kindness and generosity. David touched countless lives through his devotion to charity work with Toys for Tots, his coat drive, walking for Team Ryan and his Candy Creations & Crafts by Dave.
David was employed by Resident Shoppers Service and Aquino's Restaurant.
He is survived by his mother, four sisters Valerie Galvagni, Donna and Monty Zimbro, Brenda and Jerry Tomassi and Jackie and Mike Zbiegien and his three brothers Donald and Debbie Roberts, John Dominic Jr. and Lynn Rosen and Mike and Kim Dominic.
David leaves behind his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and countless close friends.
He was predeceased by his father, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Taverna, Alice Elk and brother-in-law Norm Galvagni.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio, will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM, at the Church of St. John the Baptist
A celebration to honor the life of David will be held Friday, from 4-8 pm at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
