Elsie D.  Federow (Hall)
Elsie D. Federow, age 92, of Durhamville, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2017, at the Oneida Healthcare Residential Facility.

Elsie was born on December 17, 1924 in Broggodoeis, MO to the late Morris and Lucy Berndt Hall. She attended and graduated school in Missouri. On March 16, 1966, she was united in marriage to Thomas Federow, Sr.; a blessed union of 51 years.

Elsie enjoyed Elvis, NASCAR, bowling and aerobics. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Elsie is survived by her husband, Tom; three sons and two daughters in law, Thomas Federow, Jr. of Blossvale, Roy and Chris Dust of Camden, and Albert and Diane Dust of NC; five grandchildren, Katherine, Rebecca, Ryan (Amy), Sean, and Aaron; 11 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers in law, MaryLou and James Chubback, Beatrice and Doug Rosenthal, and Carol Clements; and three brothers and sisters in law, Roy and MaryLou Hall, Frederick (Ted) and Alice Hall, and George and Catherine Hall; and her beloved pet, Roadrunner. She was predeceased by a sister, Renee Mowers, and two brothers, Morris and Charles Hall.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the 3rd Floor staff at the Oneida Healthcare Residential Facility for their care and compassion expressed to Elsie during her stay.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elsie’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
