Condolence: So sorry for your loss. I was a young GI from Columbus,Ohio who was stationed at Griffiss and worked for Bob. He was our leader in the shop and worked to train me on vehicles. Bob had long hair in 1986 and I thought wow I work for a hippy!! When I got to know him and respect him he made me feel i was important and gave me direction in my career, he felt like a dad giving us direction and sound advice. I felt bad losing touch with him in the 80s, before the internet.
But, I have never forgotten him and I still tell people today, he was the best supervisor I ever worked for. Again, I am truly sorry to hear about his passing.
