He was a devoted grandfather to Aimee Knapp Sullivan {David}, William Barry Knapp {Annie}, Felix LaBella III, and Desiree LaBella; also blessed with four great grandchildren, Clare, Erin, and Ryan Sullivan, and Ellie Knapp. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Weinheimer of Syracuse; many nieces, nephews, and friends, in particular, Tony Levadoti of Rome.
Quint was predeceased by brothers, Thomas {Tom}, John {Jack}, Robert {Mac} and Father Louis Barry {Butch}. They all cherished their Irish heritage, sharing a love of sports {especially Notre Dame and the Boston Red Sox}, while having a beer together. Quint loved sports, both playing and watching football, basketball and baseball. Quint never met a stranger, and loved to talk and tell stories to anyone willing to listen.
Quint was a lifelong resident of Rome, a member of St. Peter’s Church and its’ Men’s Club. His faith carried him through many illnesses and hardships. Quint was a steadfast Democrat.
